At Cyberport’s DELF Forum, DJM’s Head of Creative Strategy joins industry visionaries to celebrate emerging filmmakers transforming AI prompts into human narratives.
Ideas met craft, and responsible AI took the spotlight at the Re:VISS AI Film FEST 2025 on 13 September, held at Cyberport as part of the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF).
DJM Consulting’s Head of Creative Strategy & Partnerships, Mark Goh, was invited to join the judging panel—reviewing AI-generated short films from rising creators across the region. Mark brought his creative lens and branding experience to evaluate how participants transformed prompts into cinematic storytelling.
From a packed reception and opening remarks by Mann WM Yim, Chairman of the Hong Kong Society of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (HKSAII), to a keynote by Andy Chow, Head of Customer Solutions Architects at Google Cloud, the momentum continued with student showcases, a Cantonese panel, and an international short film screening.
The forum featured voices like Dr Terry Lam, PhD, Dean, School of Film and Television, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA); Cecilia Yau, Partner, Mainland China and Hong Kong Media Leader, PwC, Prof. Paul WK TSANG, Vice President (Academic), Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi), Dr Suria KONG, Associate Co‑Director, Academy for Educational Development and Innovation, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), and filmmaker Amos Why, with discussions exploring ethics, education, and talent development in the age of AI. Local standout Frankie Fan of Manymany Creation demonstrated polish and heart, while the GoGBA Business Support Centre (Futian) outlined cross-border opportunities in the Greater Bay Area.
Mark’s takeaway? Vision plus rigor—clear storytelling, thoughtful prompt design, ethical data, and tight craft are the future of meaningful AI-filmmaking.
