Mark Goh Joins AI Film Fest to Shape the Future of Creative Storytelling
DJM Consulting is proud to support the Re:VISS AI Film Fest cum Award Ceremony—an inspiring celebration of artificial intelligence in creative filmmaking co-hosted by the Hong Kong Society of Artificial Intelligence and Innovation (HKSAII) and Google Cloud. The event, held on 13 September 2025 at Google office, was a highlight of the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF 2025) and marked a key milestone in Asia’s innovation and storytelling ecosystem.
DJM’s Head of Creative Strategy & Partnerships, Mark Goh, shared a thought-provoking AI insights across the creative industry, advertising, and filmmaking. Speaking on “AI in Education and the Future of Creative Filmmaking,” Mark posed a powerful provocation:
“Are we dreaming with AI, or is AI dreaming with us? We set the vision, we make the choices—AI augments our craft while humans lead the creation.”
The panel featured respected voices including:
Prof. Man Tin, Assistant Professor, Department of Creative Arts, Hong Kong Metropolitan University, who emphasized that creativity and curiosity remain central even in an AI-driven world.
Andy Chow, Head of Customer Solution Architects, Google Cloud Hong Kong, who encouraged hands-on AI tools and experimentation guided by responsibility.
Kylie Fung, Deputy Director, Information Technology Office, Vocational Training Council (VTC), who discussed AI’s rising prominence in curriculum design and education standards.
As part of the Re:VISS AI Film Fest jury, Mark will return on 13 September at Cyberport's DELF conference to join judges in honouring next-generation filmmakers, showcasing how responsible AI can empower new visual languages, storytelling formats, and cultural bridges. From cinematic short films to interactive narratives, Re:VISS demonstrated how AI and human creativity can co-author fresh possibilities for the screen.
This year’s festival was a collaboration between HKSAII, NEXX, Google Cloud, Cyberport, AI for Campus Foundation, GoGBA Business Support Centre (Futian), and Samsung.
